Slightly wax coated heavy weight cotton twill
Classic cut with lining, long sleeves, button down collar, chest pocket and two side pockets, woven 'Hoalen' label stitched on hip, small 'Seabass Fish' woven label stitched on left cuff.
Hoalen develops its shirts with a garment factory in southern India (the Karnataka region) and in Portugal (the Porto region). The fabrics used are plain or yarn dyed with stripes or checks. They can be made from flannel, poplin or canvas, all three of which are 100% cotton and boast a particularly tight structure, thus ensuring not only a better fit, but optimised resistance over time.
Outside : Slightly wax coated heavy weight cotton twill, 335 gsm. 100% Waxed cotton twill made in England by manufacturer British Millerain established in 1880 in Yorkshire. The coating Sahara 8 contains a unique blend of waxes which produces a drier feel than traditional wax fabric with the added benefit of being machine washable. This modern version of wax retains it's water repellent properties over time. Developed for fishermen who worked on small trawlers on the English coast, it was adopted as the first choice waterproof clothing for the British armed forces during World War II.
