To make our Circular garments, we sourced our fabric from one of our historical partners. The material is made from recycled clothing, or pieces of clothing, compressed and then crushed, thus returning to the state of simple fiber before being transformed into yarn. We use this recreated yarn to knit a very thick jersey of 230 gsm, more than twice as thick as a standard t-shirt (150 gsm). This greater thickness ensures that the garment will hold up better over time.
Since the yarn used comes from a multitude of pieces of cotton and polyester fabric, it is therefore itself a mixture of these materials. In the same way, the yarn obtained is neither plain nor dyed. It is a blended yarn, which is the result of an association of small pieces of fibers of different colors, grouped together to create a dozen shades, including notably the gray and blue that we selected for our Circular t-shirts.
