History

The fabric for the Polaris 4 comes from Polartec. Founded in 1906, this manufacturer of innovative textile solutions represents a model of durability and efficiency. Insulating, lightweight and breathable, Polartec has proven so successful that it is now standard equipment for U.S. Special Forces.

Warmth

Polartec provides particularly good warmth for its light weight. The jacket's sturdy lining with a density of 120 gsm comes from our French supplier Sofileta. To ensure optimal insulation against cold and weather, we added invisible sleeves to the cuffs. This limits air intake and keeps the warmth in.

Breathable

Polartec fleece sherpa has so-called hydrophobic properties, meaning it repels moisture and speeds up drying time. The unpleasant feeling of wetness is thus avoided.

Polyvalent

Thanks to its technical qualities and its lightness, the Polaris 4 adapts to all your outdoor practices. You can wear it as an outer jacket or as an insulating mid-layer for those cold days. Its chest pocket and side pockets are convenient for everyday use to slip in everything you need.

Details

Set-in sleeves, central zipper closure and 3 zippered pockets. Elasticated bias finish at cuffs and bottom of fleece. Elastic drawcords at the bottom with invisible stoppers, anti-friction protection at the top of the zip, invisible sleeves, small "Hoalen" patch sewn on the chest.
