Ishita Malaviya

Each ambassador has his own uniqueness, Ishita's is to be a longboarder full of energy, who became the first Indian to glide on a surfboard.

Today, she welcomes in her surf camp, travelers from all over the world, who come to enjoy the waves of the charming fishing village Kodi Bengare in the Karnataka region. The children surf, the women too. What a pride for Ishita, to succeed in participating in the change of attitude of the Indians towards the ocean!

Highlighted by the documentary "Beyound the Surface" by surf filmmaker Dave Homcy, she is now using this media exposure to promote the emancipation and education of women in India and education of women in India as well as sharing her passion for surfing.
