Ronan Châtain

Roman is a lover of Finistère and the Breton coast. It's hard to escape surfing when you grow up on the mythical spot of La Torche. Former high level competitor in longboard, Ronan became a pioneer of the big surf in Brittany. In the shadow of the Nazaré crowds, the Finisterian still shares unforgettable sessions with his friend David Deanta!

If Ronan is not in the water, you will surely see him teaching his passion for surfing at the Ecole de surf de Bretagne (ESB) La Torche which he co-founded and for which he is the technical director and coordinator of the high level surfing program. A bid for the Olympic Games, world events on the spot of the torch, Ronan represents the future of a Breton youth who dreams to follow his path!
