Season after season, we love to surprise you with unique graphics and colors you won't find everywhere. We’re always seaking for the best fabrics. We try to find a right balance between robustness and comfortability. We continuously improve our cuts and work with our suppliers to find new ways to weave cotton.
Here's a guide to help you find your future best t-shirt.
This year, we offer four types of t-shirts in our collection: a merino wool t-shirt with a density of 150 gsm, a linen-cotton blend with 200 gsm density, and two 100% cotton models: one with a 210 gsm density and the other made of a 300 gsm cotton.
Our t-shirt selection is specially designed for our surroundings : a coastal oceanic climate. Each model has been crafted with high-quality fabrics to offer you durable t-shirts that will last for years. These pieces will maintain their characteristic softness and impeccable fit, even after numerous washes and daily wear.
What does the term "gsm" mean that you can see on all our t-shirts?
The gsm (gram per square meter) is used to measure the thickness of a fabric. A 210 gsm t-shirt, for example, means that the weight of the cotton used is 210 grams per square meter of surface area. This is thicker than average: a t-shirt is generally made from 150 gsm fabric.

The thickest one, 300 gsm
Particularly dense, like a polo shirt, this 300 gsm cotton is ideal for the colder seasons. Appreciated for its drape, robustness and thickness, we called on one of our long-standing partners, Fashion First - DBS, to bring you this original piece. Wear loose for a casual look.
The classic one, 210 gsm
A Hoalen wardrobe essential for all occasions and year-round wear. The 210 gsm t-shirt combines comfort, durability, good structure, and softness. Designed and woven with organic cotton jersey, it's appreciated for its irregular slub weave that brings a variety of subtle tones to the t-shirt.
The newborn one, 200 gsm, linen and cotton
Made from a blend of 45% cotton and 55% linen, this fabric is new to the Hoalen wardrobe. Robust and lightweight, it combines the qualities of both cotton and linen. Naturally thermoregulating and breathable, linen is ideal for hot days. Very resistant, it will help provide you with a lasting product that will accompany you summer after summer. Cotton, meanwhile, helps provide a soft and light hand to the t-shirt. It ensures easy maintenance.
The most technical one, 150 gsm, merino wool
Knitted from an extra-fine merino wool yarn, this t-shirt is a perfect base layer for outdoor activities. Thanks to its thermoregulating, antibacterial and insulating properties, merino wool keeps you warm, dry and cool during exercise. In addition to regulating your body temperature, this natural fibre, which does not encourage the growth of bacteria, has the pleasant property of not retaining odours. This reduces the need for frequent washing, which can damage the quality of the fibre, as with synthetic knit T-shirts. This T-shirt therefore offers optimum comfort whatever your outdoor activity and whatever the season.
