A Postcard From North Finistère
You have to travel to the far reaches of the Abers region, where the coast ends, to truly appreciate the brutality of Finistère's natural landscape.
The coastline torn by the waves, the dunes painted by the wind and the earth beaten by the rain, yes, but also the coast of Léon. Luminous, dramatic, vibrant, brutal, rugged, magnificent. Reefs, granite, fine sand, the smell of pine trees and dried seaweed... look up and there it is: the Virgin Island lighthouse, towering over the rough ocean.
It's here, in Plouguerneau, where it all started, that our team gathers once a year.
For one day, we come together to learn how to work better as a team. To share our ideas and aspirations. To build and plan for the future of our company, constantly challenging ourselves.
Every team from our Ocean Stores makes the trip, from Houlgate to Guéthary. Logistics specialists, developers, carpenters, product managers, accountants, and financial analysts—every available brain is put to work to build Hoalen's vision for tomorrow together.
A warm day spent with the team, ending on a high note in our pub, Le Homard Noir.
A very rich and productive day for Hoalen, where we listen to each other, exchange ideas, work, laugh, learn, surf, dance, and grow.
