Against the tide of noise and crowds, Hoalen often chooses the road less traveled. For our latest shoot, we set course for the Isle of Mull, off the coast of Scotland.

A raw and windswept land, bordered by cold waters, where cows and sheep outnumber people—but where every turn takes your breath away. It’s here, on the sidelines of our photo session, that we filmed Far from the Crowd: a short, unembellished film that captures the untouched beauty of places that are never chosen by chance. This film is also a reflection of what has driven us since 2006: remote territories, raw elements, and a certain vision of coastal life—simple, active, and purposeful.

And sometimes, choosing authenticity means embracing its whims—like a Scottish rain shower falling in the middle of a shoot meant to welcome summer. But after all, the wind, the cold, the rain… they’re all part of the setting. Of our setting. And of our story.
