Behind the scenes at Hoalen: how our carpenters create the magic of our stores

Our Ocean Stores are unique places, rich in authenticity, personal history, and all resolutely oriented towards coastal living. We designed them to showcase our clothing, accessories, and above all to share with you the lifestyle that drives us.

We are passionate about designing our stores as living spaces where you can discover ambassador portraits, dive into their world and achievements, or listen to surfers' tales of their explorations. Unique marine objects, open books, snippets of conversation heard near the bar - everything speaks of stories, maritime experiences, and a shared coastal lifestyle.

These unique places are made possible through the work of our carpentry team, who work daily on the layout of our stores to make them functional and offer you a different experience in each of our spaces.

As with the design of our clothing lines, we strive to choose the best partners to offer you a unique experience and create sustainable and authentic living spaces. We work to ensure that every detail, while invisible to your eyes, is thoughtfully designed for our teams and to make your experience special.

Inspired by the coast, we carefully select the wood species for our flooring, the fabric of our curtains, paint shades, and texture combinations. We meticulously choose our partner sawmills and collaborate with qualified local artisans. Through our stores, we aim to celebrate French craftsmanship and our teams' expertise.

Shelving made from Landes pine, solid oak bar counters, wooden lamps, designer armchairs, and bar chairs - all the furniture you can find in our Ocean Stores is designed in our Finistère carpentry workshop, then transported and installed by our carpentry team.
