Hoalen has revisited one of the classics of its Explore technical range: the Paddle Short, designed for rowing sports in a sitting or standing position. We are proud to be pioneers in the use of Woolprene, an innovative material developed by the French manufacturer Payen. This ultra-lightweight double-sided fabric is more breathable and uses less oil than the 1.5mm or less thick neoprene traditionally used for thin wetsuits.

Insulating, breathable and warm

The merino wool looped inner face provides excellent thermal properties and breathability. This is because the fabric retains a layer of water in its fibres that warms up on contact with your skin, keeping you warm for your efforts over a long period of time. It also dries particularly quickly. Ideal for chaining sessions together!

Robust

What's more, Woolprene is highly resistant to abrasion and sea water. Particularly stretchy, it forms a bi-elastic second skin that provides great freedom of movement and very good muscle support.

Details

Rowing shorts made of 1.5 mm thick Woolprene, particularly soft, comfortable and easy to put on. Waistband can be tightened with an inner drawstring at the waist. On the left thigh, a small pocket the size of a smartphone in a waterproof case. Flat inner seams positioned to minimise friction. No seams on the seat. Hoalen logo printed on the right thigh.
