The Black 5 "Cold Water" wetsuit without hood has been designed for cold waters, between 12 and 17°. These water temperatures are typical of late autumn and early spring on the French ocean coast. With a thickness of 4mm on the torso and thighs, and 3mm on the rest of the body, this is the most versatile wetsuit you can use almost all year round, before eventually completing your equipment with a thinner wetsuit for warmer waters (2-3mm) and/or an even warmer wetsuit for winter (5-6mm).
Yulex® natural rubber
We use Yulex® natural rubber for this combination. It is made up of 85% natural rubber from rubber tree cultivation and 15% synthetic rubber. The carbon footprint of this material is thus reduced by 80% compared with the oil extraction process required for traditional neoprene production, while retaining the performance properties of neoprene: durability and high extensibility.
The glue used for the various assembly operations is solvent-free, so it's more respectful of the environment and the professionals who make it. Finally, the outer and inner linings are made from polyester recycled from plastic bottles. The inner lining is brushed to make it softer, provide better thermal insulation, slip on more easily and dry more quickly.
Performance
All seams are glued, stitched and braided with anti-irritation tape on the inside, to make them strong and limit water ingress. In addition, the outside of the seams is covered with a "liquid tape" (plastic gasket) that further reduces water ingress, keeps heat close to the body, and reinforces the strength of the seams. Elasticity is reduced at wrists and ankles to further limit water ingress. Finally, the asymmetrical front zip closes from the outside inwards to reduce the possibility of openings during practice. The suit retains its reinforcement inserts at the knees to increase abrasion resistance.

Rinse the Noire after each session to prolong its life, keep its flexibility and prevent premature wear of the zip. Regularly disinfect your neoprene suit with a suitable shampoo. Store your suit away from the sun and preferably rolled rather than folded. Hanging it too long on a hanger can deform it. Dry it first on the inside and then on the outside, away from direct heat sources (heating).Help size
