The material is made from recycled, compressed and shredded garments or pieces of garments, returning them to the state of simple fiber before being transformed into yarn. Its greater thickness (with a grammage of 210g/m2 vs. 150g/m2 for a standard t-shirt) means it holds its shape better wash after wash.
