In partnership with the Urkirola Surf Club, Hoalen organized on September 18th and 19th the 11th edition of the Hoalen Fathers and Sons on the small beach of Cénitz in Guéthary.
The Hoalen Fathers and Sons is used to welcome about twenty
of family duos, among which some great fans of the event and great names of French surfing. A shared family passion, far from the podiums.

This is a unique and friendly sporting event which, far from competitions, has been promoting family surfing for six years. To satisfy the trans-generational spirit of the event, participants must compete in pairs, each pair must be made up of two people with a family link and a generation apart (father-son, mother-daughter, uncle-nephew etc.).
