We are proud to present our first watch jacket, the fruit of collaborative work with our ambassadors, developed and tested to meet the demands of coastal sailing. It embodies our commitment to developing functional, durable products for the outdoor marine wardrobe.
A technical jacket
Constructed from a 3-layer laminate fabric (the outer shell, a membrane and a protective knit), the High Seas jacket is waterproof and breathable (10,000 mm /5000 g/m2/24h), preventing water penetration while allowing perspiration to evaporate, keeping you dry and comfortable. A DWR water-repellent treatment applied to the fabric helps preserve the jacket's performance.
All seams are taped for effective protection against the elements.
Ergonomic cut
The jacket's deliberately ample cut and angled sleeves have been designed to follow the natural movements of the arms, avoiding any restrictions during maneuvers or intense physical effort.They also allow the addition of thermal layers without compromising mobility. The back of the jacket is slightly longer, offering extra protection, especially when seated.
Functional details
We've designed this jacket to be as functional as possible. More suited to coastal and offshore sailing than to sport sailing, it's the perfect companion for your sea outings.
The three-point adjustable hood with rigid visor folds into the collar, while the microfleece-lined high collar features an extra tab to cover nose and mouth, guaranteeing optimum protection against wind and spray.
The jacket also features two large central pockets with YKK 7 mm waterproof zips to secure your belongings. Laser perforations on the pockets ensure rapid water evacuation in the event of exposure to heavy splashes. Microfleece lining keeps your hands warm.
Adjustable polyurethane sleeves at the bottom of the sleeves form an additional barrier against water ingress.
Anti-abrasion reinforcements have been applied to the most stressed areas, to resist wear and tear even in the most demanding conditions.
Enhanced visibility
Integrated SOLAS reflective strips on the shoulders, arms and hood, plus the jacket's Gold color, keep you visible even in low-light conditions.
The Hoalen signature
Hoalen logos are applied to the front of the jacket, on the sleeves and on the back of the collar.
