The Black 6 "Cold Water" wetsuit without hood was designed for cold water, between 12 and 17°C. These water temperatures are typical, for example, of late autumn and early spring along the French Atlantic coast. With a thickness of 4mm on the chest and thighs, and 3mm on the rest of the body, this is the most versatile wetsuit you can use nearly all year round.

Natural Rubber

For this wetsuit, we use natural rubber, made up of 85% natural rubber from hevea (rubber tree) cultivation and 15% synthetic rubber. This material, now softer than before, offers increased elasticity for better freedom of movement and easier suiting up, while retaining neoprene's key qualities: durability and strong stretch. Its carbon footprint is reduced by 80% compared to the oil extraction process used for traditional neoprene production.

The glue used in assembly is solvent-free, making it more environmentally friendly and safer for the workers who craft it. The outer and inner linings are made from recycled polyester sourced from plastic bottles, with the inner lining brushed for extra softness, better thermal insulation, and faster drying.

High Performance

All seams are glued, sewn, and taped with an anti-irritation tape on the inside, making them sturdy and limiting water entry. In addition, the outer side of the seams is covered with a "liquid tape" (plastic seal) that further reduces water entry, retains heat close to the body, and reinforces seam strength. Thanks to the material's enhanced flexibility, elasticity is reduced only at the wrists and ankles, without compromising ease of movement elsewhere. The asymmetric front zip closes from outside to inside to reduce the chance of accidental openings during use, and reinforced panels at the knees increase abrasion resistance.

Care

Rinse the Noire after each session to prolong its life, keep its flexibility and prevent premature wear of the zip. Regularly disinfect your neoprene suit with a suitable shampoo. Store your suit away from the sun and preferably rolled rather than folded. Hanging it too long on a hanger can deform it. Dry it first on the inside and then on the outside, away from direct heat sources (heating).
